Christ Church Primary School
Christ Church Primary School celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2008. It is a one form entry primary school which has served the changing populations of Spitalfields over the last three centuries. Today’s school population is culturally and ethnically mixed reflecting the nature of London and the East End. It enjoys good links with the church and is well established in the local community.
The school is currently in a soft federation with Sir John Cass Primary School, the only primary school in the City of London. The Executive Headteacher is Gerard Loughran. The school’s governing body includes a number of church members. The church team do assemblies in the school on a weekly basis and a number of the staff are practising Christians. Its motto is based on John 10:10:
‘A Church school that values and respects every member of the school community, seeking and celebrating achievement at all levels whilst supporting and encouraging each one towards fullness of life’
The school currently has vacancies in a number of year groups and welcomes enquiries on the following number: 0207 247 0792
