Casual Verger required
We are looking for a casual verger. An ideal candidate will be a practicing Christian who is able to work Sundays and weekday evenings on a rota basis. Duties include un/locking and taking responsibility for the security of the church building and keeping the building and environs in very good order. Training will be provided. £8-10 per hour. City Gateway
City Gateway are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance Team. The role will involve managing a number of the day to day finance department activities including management of bank accounts, and the sales, purchase and general ledgers. The role will also involve supporting the Director of Finance in many ways including the month end processes and preparation of the management accounts. The post will require the individual to have the relevant qualifications outlined in the 'Person Specification' or be qualified by at least 3 years experience in a similar role.
Beauty Programme Coordinator
The post holder will play a key role in co-coordinating the development and delivery of the beauty programme. This will involve shaping the sessions to meet the demands of the curriculum. The Beauty Programme Coordinator and tutor will report to City Gateway as the specialist lead for 'Beauty Gateway'.
In addition, the right candidate will share the Christian ethos of City Gateway, a charity which reaches out to the most excluded individuals in Tower Hamlets and provides them with training to secure work.

Early Years and Families Sessional Worker
TASKS
To help with setting up and clearing away equipment and toys for the weekly early years stay and play sessions at the Mission; helping with activities during sessions; some administrative tasks.
HOURS
4.5 hours/week, Tuesdays: 8.30am -1.00pm. School term times only
PAY
£9.35 per hour (£42.08 per week) during term times only
39 weeks per year + 4 weeks holiday pay
= 43 weeks x £42.08 = £1,809 per year
(£150.75 per calendar month).
