Groups
Perhaps you have seen our vision for this year of 2007, and now want to get involved with us here at Christ Church.
We believe that Jesus wants us all to be involved with his ministry and mission, and we hope you will join us at Christ Church where we want to grow the church, bless the local community and welcome those who visit us.
Our three biblical intentions as a church community underpin this all we do:
- looking upwards in worship and prayer,
- reaching outwards in mission and ministry, and
- moving onwards in discipleship and fellowship.
We believe we will be most effective in assisting Christ with his mission by working together and so we have ‘groups and teams’ at Christ Church. It is our hope that you will join one of our groups, what we call missional communities, and at least one team.. You will see from the ‘What’s on’ that we also have whole church family prayer meetings and we urge you to come along to as many of these as you can.
